yeah you did give your views on drinking, you said the reasons that you're straight edge are because you don't want to"black out" or wake up with a hangover, or even lose control of yourself (so you're expressing what you feel happens when people drink). it would be like me saying when you drive cars real fast you crash and die.. well no that's not true but that's my view point on the act. my question is, have you ever experienced what 2 or 3 beers do to you? because they certainly don't cause any of those things. i feel you're blowing things way out of proportion, for reason unknown (maybe because you're biased and you feel the need to justify your actions?_ if you can't see the difference in getting drunk and being a casual drinker than i'm sorry, but that's fucking sad. you don't need to get drunk everytime you drink, but to dismiss it all (even the ability to have a single beer) is just pathetic in my eyes. and at the end if you just don't want to drink, you don't like it, etc. (like me in my pervious years, i didn't drink until i graduated highschool) then good for you but for christ sakes stop acting like you're so goddamn special.

did you read when i said I have done everything I'm against? I've drank before. I never enjoyed it, so I dont do it. Plenty of my friends drink, I go with them, I just dont drink. I know there's a difference between casual drinking and excessive drinking, I just stay away from it.
How the fuck is "personal choice" bullshit? I dont drink because I dont like the effects, the taste, and the outcome. If thats what you want to do, then fine.
I wouldnt say its a fad, its been around for over 20 years and some people are really passionate about it. I'm not passionate enough to get a fucking straightedge tattoo or anything, but I've seen plenty of them.
People need to learn that people are different.
