Liberty City is mainly New York. And since GTA3 was based there, one would assume that GTA4 would be there as well (as for the nameless character, who knows).

Thats why they put GTA: Vice City and GTA: San Andreas instead of GTA4 and GTA5.

Trailer is very nice, mainly shows buildings in liberty city and your main character. Water looks lush, nothing ground-breaking but I can't wait to play it


edit: more you watch, more detailed the world seems. night and day transitions, shading, trains, rollercoaster park, stock exchange, neon billboards

If it plays 1/10 of how it looks. . .were in for a hot one.

I dont mind Liberty City if it is the Liberty City of today (which would be radically different than the one of yesterday.

Suprisingly that looked pretty nice, it seems to have lost the old cartooney look and went for something abit more realistic looking. Be interesting to see the speculation across multiple forums as to what system was powering that video, 360 or ps3. happy:

Just reading over a few forums, lots of people pissed it takes place in liberty city again. Some think the graphics suck, others glad you''re not playing a black guy again eek: . Usually with a gta game everyone automatically hops on its dick, suprised to see so much negativity on it.
