My, what an interesting conversation. He's teaching you to notice details that you didn't care about by making you feel stupid.

I know what you mean. It was the English who captured the enigma machine...not a couple of slackjawed Americans.

Hey Mr. Dick on the wheels, please explain to me how trying to enjoy my game to its fullest and not worrying about the smallest details makes me lazy? I understand that you and many others care soooooo much if you see a plane in the sky in the distance and it has the wrong decall or paint job, and thats totally cool. But why dont I have the same right to enjoy my game just the way it is. I see in absolutely no way that this makes me more lazy than you. Sure, i may be less observant than the rest but I dont have to sit around and let those things bother me while gaming. What I would be pissed at, is if they messed up SEVERLY. For example, having battles take place in the wrong countries. Just remember Dickonwheels, whats minor to me may be major to you, and vice versa. But dont get me wrong, I understand your point of view. Just dont go calling me lazy because I "dont know any better about those historic flaws." I know a lot more about this conflict than you think. I just refuse to let that get to me.

You took that wrong I think. Inpatient would have been a better word to use, and I said that because you made it sound like you didn't care about details you just want it now. Wait a little longer and it will be all the sweeter. dont get all worked up now. And its Mr. Dick on Wheels

The U-505, I'm pretty sure that's the sub at The Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. I've been on that sub actually, along with Jeff here (one of our artists . Have many a reference pic from that sub p.
But anyways, that plane is an FW-190 model D. I've double checked with our artists and saw the pics of it and it's pretty much right on (including the gun ports on the wings close to the fuselage, and the landing gear ports molded into the wing structure). The D model had the elongated nose structure to allow for the new engines they used on it, the Junkers Jumo 213A V-12 in place of the BMW 801 Radial. Also how it got it's nick-name, the Long-nose Dora. For a reference, check out Complete Book of WWII Combat Aircraft, pg. 161 for a picture of a Fw190 D-9
