Attaboy, snipey.... hang on to your values. Im tired of all these politically correct, granola-eating treehuggers whining, pissing and moaning. Thanks for reducing the size of your banner.
(Now for a rant)
Whether one agrees with the confederate flag being displayed or not, it is part of American history and should not be forgotten. Look at the Nazi battle flag and the rising sun flag. They played in integral part in world history and yet they're now shoved into closets since so many people have bitched and whined that they can't be displayed in public.
The very people that whine about freedom and equality are often the first in line to enact legislation forbidding it. Everyone wants to be treated equally, unfortunately some just want to be treated more equally than others. It seems that you can say and do as you like, as long as no one is offended. I say grow up and stop being such babies. If someone is a member of the Klan, or some Neo Nazi group, if they're Buddhists, Catholic, Protestant, Yankee, Redcoats, Bluebloods, Redneck, Liberal, Democrat or a member of some other special interest group, so freakin' what. They should be able to worship, congregate or demonstrate whereever and whenever they want, as long as it's within the confines of the law.
I seem to recall that one of the first mods I saw for BF1942 was the "historically correct flags" mod. I never noticed until I looked into it. What a stupid thing to have to worry about. Although I personally don't support Hitler's values or beliefs in relation to ratial purity, I do support anyone else's right to believe as they see fit. Isn't it odd that the first thing most gamers complain about is a lack of realism or historical accuracy. Let's face it, due to polical issues, you can't have it. Things are omitted and often removed to avoid public outcry.
You don't have to like or support someone else's values or beliefs, but true freedom means allowing others to hold those values and beliefs. Remember that "Right" and "Wrong" are often dependent on which side of the fence your standing. I'd rather know the whole truth than have it hidden from the masses to spare someone's feelings. History is difficult enough to document without the truth being perverted or twisted to become "PC". WWII was ugly, the US Civil War was ugly. Hitler's master plan was an abomination. Slavery was absolutely inhuman. Nonetheless, they should not be forgotten. Today's youth need to know exactly how horrible it was, no matter how graphic or unsettling. They should know the truth and decide for themsleves what they believe. That's freedom.
(End of rant)
Disclaimer: Believe what you want, just don't promote those beliefs with an insanely huge banner in these forums!! LOL

Im a danm proud yankee! The flag doesnt bother me at all. Our southern brothers just take longer to learn history, thats all. Bring that flag up here to Detroit and Ill bet you go home with you tail between your legs or in a body bag! Freedom of expression is a right so is kicking ass!

News Flash
Inconsiderate fucktards ruin it for everybody!...Film at 11.
"Yay! Lemme rain on everyones party coz Izza ignorant som-bitch"
Dodd has spoken. The Admins WILL be looking into sigs more often now and if your sig is rediculous expect a PM.
All it will take is enough ppl complaining of load times and watch the sig size decrease to a postage stamp or get eliminated alltogether.
Watch. The Admins will warn ppl of sig size first and next you will get the same ppl bitching "Hey! His sig is 5k bigger than mine, how come you dont make HIM change it??" and it will annoy the admins to the point they disable signatures alltogether. Ive seen this very thing happen on 2 boards I frequent.
We'll, I hope everybody enjoyed the sigs while they lasted.
And all because a few ppl think they can flaunt the rules.

Let's remember a motto of design:
Less is more.
Learn it.
Love it.
Live it.

Yeah..
Any sig long enough to add an X scroll bar on my 1024x768 resolution is way to much. I don't apreciate having to scroll to the right to read entire posts.
I think you can disable the viewing of sigs in your profile though.
But I would suggest dumping the 56k modem. No one likes to play online games with a 56ker.
