cry: cuss: I took the somputer over to my friends house. he checked everything out and I had indeed hooked it up correctly. We plugged it in and BAM, curcit breaker blew. so he flipped the switch on the breaker, and we plugged the computer back in. Same thing happened. We decide to take the power supply out and see what happens when we just connect the power to the power supply...... same fucking thing happened. We took it to another part of the house, because the room we were in had a lot of stuff already hooked up. We plug in the power supply and hear a small pop. Not like a fire cracker, just kinda like a relay popping.
long story short, we think my power supply is fucked. going to take the damn thing over to geek squad and have them take a look at it.

Im suprised theres that much of a gap between them, they were intel controlled benchmarks but i doubt they'd intentionally sabatage the amd system as it would be discovered when reviewers get their hands on the new chip and mobo a few months down the line.
Its not a matter of "fuck this company or that" its a matter of getting the best performance for your money. Looks like the tide is swinging back in favour of intel for a while anyway.
As i type this im on a pc with 2 gigs of ram, x800gto 2 with an amd 4400+x2 cpu i just built for my uncle. pretty nice system at that. happy:
