Gerard you fail to realize that our national anthem was wrote on a fucking napkin off the coast of the US while the british and americans were fighting, he wrote what he saw. This seems like disagreeing for the sake of it. I didn't really say anything about corrective smacks or suggestive pats, I said "smack the shit out of". If anyone smacks the shit out of any kid they deserve to be shot, no two ways about it.

It may have been politically and sociably correct 25 years ago to belt and beat children but it ain't now. Not in my book.

As I said, I wasn't trying to suggest to anyone how to bring up a child. But if I heard someone was beating their children up I'd be fucking livid.
