Apocolypse Now. The copter scene with Robert Duvall playing Lt. Col. Bill Killgore. When they blow up that village. Then it ends......"I love the smell of Napalm in the morning."

too many movie battles to list.
one I haven't seen here is the part in Kelly's Heroes where they run a whole convoy of vehicles through the kraut town right under their noses biggrin:

also the battle in Green Berets where the firebase get's overrun and then the AC-47 comes in.

and not really a movie but the episode in Blacksheep Squadon when the ground staff is almost overrun by the Jap Marines and Pappy and teh squadron fly back to turn the Japs into hamburger

I still watch that on the history channel ever once in awhile just because i love WW2 aviation.

in that show there are no explosions in the air battles, only smoke, and when there are explosions, it's footage from ww2

considering they only had a TV show budget and no 21st century computer effects I think they did a good job
