[Dr. Deleto]

These pictures were sent to me from a fellow who is in the USAF. He and his freinds took them in Iraq after the regime had been destroyed. The first picture itself is so infuriating, how they laugh at a great tragedy such as 9/11 and celebrate it, to justify the war for me 1,000 times over. The second picture is just a little proof that Sadam was at least trying to hide some of the weapons he had. Not to say this is proof of wmd, but if he hid a jet by burying it in the sand, then he obviously was planning something he didn't want us to know about. Either that or he is a total dumbass.

total dumbass is most likely,
that much sand is sure to fuck up the intake, you'll need at least a day or two to clean it out so it's ready to fight.
Also I saw a different picture AFTER they dug up the jet, the plexiglass of the cockpit looks dingy yellow, which means it's been lying in less than favorable conditions for some time. Plexiglass, espacially 60s and earlier tends to become yellow from exposure. The plane is a Mig-25 which is a 60s plane.
Also if you watch Wing Commander the movie, you'll notice the same yellow glass on the fighter props, it looks like they took the canopies off some old F-8 Crusaders or A-7 Corsairs.
From the looks of that plane after it was dug up, if I was the pilot I would say "shove it" to anyone who suggested that I even take off.

Sounds a bit idealistic to think that more standardized tests will make students learn better, more like they take away teachers' time to teach.
