378 US deaths.
Total US wounded in Iraq since March 20th: 2176
I think 1 death is too many.
Just think 378 families that have been ruines so far. Now someone doesn't have a son, brother, father, uncle, nephew.
This is nothing compared to WWII and other wars like thatm but times haev changed. I don't think we should be comparing the two wars. Maybe compare the first gulf war to the second. Or Kosovo, or Bosnia.

I didn't mean to discriminate. There are women in my infantry unit. If they can pull the load I have no problem with it.

There wont be a draft. there have been like 200 fatalities maybe. Thats like buying a house wiht a quarter. friggin good price if you ask me. Although this is kinda senseless, at least BJ(bush junior) isnt leaving, hes trying to finish like hes father failed to do. lol omg.....Weird Al's song Bomb iraq just came on....talk about coincidence. anyways.
so you want to be a god eh?
Yes. Im studying to beome a demi-god. then by the year 2130 I hope to take over position of head god. Then after that I will retire by exploding the universe because its too freaking confusing and annoying. But I wont do that for about......5 trillion years so no worries.[/quote:9b6fb]
fatalities aren't the main problem, many soldiers are saying that they will not sign another contract and will leave the military when their term is up.

in order to go to west point, you have to have sumthin like a 5.0 GPA, be a very important son of somebody and then you have to be hand picked from the tidal wave of applications.
(i think)
correct me if im wrong

well yeah....5.0 gpa maybe at my school only b.c we run a curved 6.0 scale. But the norm is 4.0 at tops. For WP they probably want the best of the best thus at least a 3.8 most probably, lots of money, you have ot have basically no life for anything but them, and then like mentioned you need to know people.
As for the deaths im not saying 400 people killed is not enough, im not saying its too much. I agree one is more than is needed. But you have to think. If we dont finish this job and Sadam is still alive hes gonan come back, hes gonna be pissed, and hes gonna take it out on the US. Bush fucked up he got us involved in Iraq b/c afghanistan lost the peoples interest and he wants to be the guy thats solves the worlds problems...he just bit too much and now he cant chew it. He wont be around much longer and the problems will hopefully be fixed.

Oh, so if Saddam was still in power with his "ghestapo"-esque police killing people every day and torturing them is any different
