DNA testing takes 3-5 days, if they just captured him they can't know it is Saddam.

Good point Striker but perhaps they captured him days ago and decided it was time to let the media know. The military does all sorts of stuff "we the general public" never finds out about!

My question now is....what do we do with him now that we have him?

I may be mistaken , but I believe in matters of national security and such , a DNA test can be " rushed ".

I'm sure they had a team of docters and experts standing by.

Thats what the President said in his address to the nation.

He said that is the time of capture. Now they are saying it is him. And the DNA test has proved that. I am assuming they must have used a quicker method to reach that conclusion. Some kind of faster DNA test than the typical used for general purpose here.

I say GG to our troops, our allies troops, the Iraqi people, Mr. Iraqi informant guy, and everyone else. The Iraq situation isn't over, but a huge step has been taken with this mans capture. I think more Iraqis were afraid to show any support for the coalition or interim government with him running around, but now that he is in custody, many can breathe a sigh of relief and get some closure out of this. I don't care about the elections coming up or whether this will help Bush out, you have to give credit where credit is due. gg Georgy.
