my mum used to work in a old peoples home and a woman years before fell down some stairs and died. now when my mum was working the stairs were knocked down after a building transformation... my mum heard someone fall down some stairs and scream! - even tho there were no stairs there!
I went to a haunted house once and heard someone walking about upstairs when noone was in the house! and and a alarm clock ticking - Very loudly in every room in the house! no matter where you went (upstairs, downstairs every room) this ticking was just as loud!-but we couldnt find the clock!

by western michigan university there are a lot of places
Kalamazoo - Gilmoure now Alpha Tau Omega fraternity house - the house is over a hundred years old and used to be the Gilmoure's mansion back in the 30's,they were a wealthy family in the Kalamazoo area, it is said that the butler fell down the servants stair case all the way to the basement and died there, their is a built in grand father clock on the second floor that always stops on the same time whenever the clock is started, supposedly the same time the butler died, Brothers that live there report the presence of "something" at night, lights have turned them selves on or off and things have been moved with no one being present
heh and this places is a psychiatric hospital

This house is filled with ghost stories - i live quite near to it its called bank hall - the exact date the building was built is unknown - but sections of it date back to 1700!

I don't really believe in ghosts.....Although shit like that still scares the fuck outta me at times.
As for haunted places, I actually live literally down the road from a supposedly haunted site - 'Carrington Mason Clinic,' which used to be a hospital for mentally ill criminals, and was notorious for the horrible treatment of inmates, i.e shock-therapy etc.
Obviously, it was closed down, and now sits in its place as a historical, local, landmark. Some scary shit went on there, and I've heard far too many bollocks scary stories about that place.

my Auntie Emma's house is haunted...well she's my grandma's aunt. Ok so heres the story.
One night, my grandma goes to the bathroom, but hears a noise and thinks its my dad so she left quickly to let him in an left the light on. Ok so she goes to her bed, and then hears this heavy footseps and then she looks out, and sees that the light is off. So he thinks "Stupid man, why did he turn off the light"...then she sees my dad, with a pistol coming out of his room, and she asks him wtf why did he turn off the light. He looks at her crazy and says i heard footsteps...so i thought it was a robber. But the strange part is, when you go into our old house its all bungalow style..so if you go through the door, into the kitchen, and then into the living room, and if you kept going strait, like the footsteps did, then you would hit the wall....So we are all sure it was a ghost.
Also, another night, 2 paintings and our bubblescreen TV fell down, but nothing was broken...
strange
