I dunno, I taped their MTV Unplugged performance. Thought they were cool, but I was also 10 at the time. I think Nirvana is over-publicized on account of his untimely death and Courtney Love. That's the press for you though.

They lost Bruce for a while dude. Virtual XI and like 2 other cd's were made with the other singer. Blaze was his name, if im not mistaken. I refuse to even look up the facts about that Maiden era, that was a dark dark time....

The Blaze Bayley recordings weren't bad, man. He had HUGE shoes to fill, so most fans were obviously not going to like any replacement.
I, on the other hand, am a fan of the BAND, not the individual members. I loved X-Factor and Virtual XI. "Sign of the Cross", "Man on the Edge", "Lord of the Flies", "Futureal", "The Angel and the Gambler", "The Clansman"...all exceptional tunes and worthy to be in any Maiden catalogue alongside the classics.
Having said that, I'm really glad to see Adrian and Bruce back in the fold. "Brave New World" and "Dance of Death" are outstanding records.
