I have heard great things about it. The only sad part is it is replacing Chevy's beloved JBody. Cavalier). I was hoping Chevy would do a massive overhaul on the Cavalier lineup, instead they decided to scrap it and introduce the cobalt, (which looks great). But in the cavaliers final state, it just couldn't compete anymore, The interior, mixed with a nearly unchanged body design in 9 years made for a dead duck.

Wow hooray people flamed the hell outta my SRT since I last posted (surprise?). In any case my opinion may be biased from my owning one, but this is coming from someone who has actually drove *both* the SRT and an Si, though admidatly I was not able to flog the shit out of the Si in turns and crap like that, however It definately can't compete with an SRT.

BTW, it's not "just a Neon," you really have to drive it to experience it. And on the technical side, it's only based one the Neon platform. In all actuality it's not even a Neon. Officially badged as the Dodge SRT-4.

Anyways, hate automatics, except for really slow city driving which just gets tedious. Just bought a brand new Neon SRT-4 last week. Of course blows the Si out of the water for 3 grand more. Hell blows most cars twice the price out of the water. The interior is rather noisy though... have to get used to it.
You're calling a Civic Si a piece of shit and you drive a fucking Neon. SRT-4 is just like polishing a turd. When its all said and done, its still a turd. spank:[/quote:4f74d]
dollar for dollar the SRT-4 is the best bang for your buck. its a really good car, and fast. Dodge really knew what they were doing when they created this beast. The engine stock can handle 500 hp calmdown:

im pretty sure the stock srt-4 will not put out 500 horses. maybe if you slam on headers, exhaust, turbo(or supercharger) some nos, new tranny and drive components, gearing, and everything you possibly can itll put out 500hp easily ya. but not stock. I just looked it up so dont argue with me.
2.4-liter turbocharged 16-valve double overhead camshaft (DOHC) engine
230 horsepower
250 lb-ft of torque
Zero to 60 in around 5.8 seconds
Quaife automatic torque biasing (ATB) differential
right from the source of the car itself http://www.dodge.com/srt-4/

I was passed by an Srt-4 once, and needless to say I wasnt going slow. The guy passed me like I was standing still. So yes it is a fast little car. Is it a 500hp V8 rwd monster...no. But itll still go fast enough for any persons needs.

What he means is the internals can handle 500hp. aka pistons, block etc etc, before you need to upgrade them. Also I would love for you to get your ass handed to you by one of them Tom. I would piss myself.

and simo, how is your saturn doing ? Have you been forced to replace the tint yet ? lol.
