For the site feeling sluggish, it's because we have about 176 people downloading the latest CoD4 patch and map editor.

I was also backing things up and cleaning old files off the server.

Well to the notion that people won't join because many of the people here have high post counts...me being the champ and all that...

All we need to is reset everyones post count to 0...and make all of our join dates to be the opening of the site...and then people won't even know we were a community before and shit

Id like the idea of a general forum...but aren't those harder to attract members due to the fact many of them exist?

it will be easier for them if the interest are more broad and general, instead of just specific games. i know a lot of us would appreciate a music forum, or a cinema forum. a sports forum i'm sure would get it's fair share of attention, etc. if you can't relate to any of those then you're not a human being.

i would also like to take this time to thank rudedog for all that's he's done and doing.

Nyck hit the nail on the head. We lost a lot of members due to a thing called "Life". (TGB, Milla, Judas, Maple, Art,....etc) **i know Milla posted today** but you get the idea.
If we never lost members like that, this place wouldn't seem so dead. We just need a kick in the nuts to get it going again. I really don't care what you guys think but....it's like watching family/friends grow. I remember when some of you peanuts were dreaming of pussy. Now some of you are actually getting some!!

Soon, you'll watch guys like me, Nyck, and JohnJ walking with fucking canes. Think we're nasty now?......lol

I don't play games anymore anyway, my PC is a POS, it's full of pawno, I have about 2 gig of free space & my graphics card is a geforce 3... I only use the PC to browse the internets & chat to ppl.

I started the thread to give the forum a kick in the nuts a little, spark some opinions on it's future. At least I know people care about it now. We still need to decide what to do with it in the long run I guess...........I just remember when threads recieved replies in no time at all, I guess those days are behind us now until change happens.

Also, I blame EA. The bastards.

as you say miyagi what the future of this place.

i think first and foremost we should archive all the no lounge subforums into an "Archives" section.

then have the same lounge subforums (minus the buy/sell) and add one or two more like anti suggested.

also only 1 default set skin thats overall been chosen would be nice
