If I was Italy...I would.

They know it's the only way they can possibly win.

I was in Italy when they won... it was WILD! I did kind of want France to win, since they did knock out Brazil. Our rental car had french plates, some wop spit on my shoes when I got out. wtf? lol. Anyways, I do agree that Zidane's headbut was pushing it, but like Tony said he did tarnish his career - which I believe is the worst part, since it was his last game. GG france annoy:

Let's compare. Daniele De Rossi gets a 5 match ban for elbowing Brian McBride. De Rossi was a first time offender, and because it was the elbow on nose, he bled.

Materazzi gets headbutted in the chest after 115min of play. Soccer players have randomly died on the pitch after having their heart stop. Hitting Materazzi in the chest with that force could have potentially made his heart stop. Not to mention Zidane has been involved in foul play numerous times.

The ruling is ridiculous, but whatever.

Materazzi has the cup, Zidane has a tarnished career.
Materazzi has done a hell of a lot worse, the guy is a scumbag.

JUST plain out obvious.

yea he does play dirty, yet he's only had 1 red card in the last 5 years

its great to base a person's career on a 2 min video showing 5 dirty tackles

Rofl thats bs...out of all i saw in that video - in every single dirty play he should have received a red card...

Tony...lets say i have beaten five girls and you have seen me doing it...Wouldnt you judge me? Wouldnt you think that i would do it again? Also by saying" yea he does play dirty, yet he's only had 1 red card in the last 5 years" are you suggesting that that is a good thing?
