Kayaks rock, next summer some friends and I are getting 4 kayaks and we are doing a 4 hour kayak trip to go camping, and next weekend i'm going up to my cottage, going to steal my neighbours bass boat and going fishing.

lol

By 'it fishes' I mean that it can get to skinny shallow water, like 1 foot in depth, and is pretty easy to control and all.

I also got a kayak. I fished out of it a few times, but I enjoy my boat more because I feel more secure in it and can sight fish better.

I prefer a kayak for fishing rivers. Did an 8 hour kayak fishing trip all along a local river. Caught probably a couple dozen fish of all varieties. And I even caught a nice fish right next to a dead deer, I was about 3 feet from it beforeI noticed it.

I remember two years ago my buddy Jay and I took a Kayak trip up into enemy territory aka Quebec and about 3 hours into Quebec we saw to black bears crossing the river and on the other side, 3 deer, needless to say, the bears got their meal.

Kayak fishing here is big. There's guys that can paddle like 2 miles offshore and fish good then there's guys who can get into ankle deep water. They're VERY versatile.

ya I love kayaks. I could get mine into about 3 maybe 4 inches of water without it hitting bottom. And usually its just soft sand. And when a river is that shallow its usually quick, at least around here.
