I gotta think the Pens will play better on Saturday. They kinda stunk up Scotiabank Place last night and they have too many character guys on that bench for a repeat performance.

The called back goal on Crosby was total bullshitz. There's no way that was a deliberate kicking motion. Sid had a right to be steamed. The only thing I can think of was that the refs thought they missed a goalie interference call on Sid, so they got him back by waving off the goal. Who knows what goes on in the review booth...

I think over half the revenues of the NHL come from canada while only having 6/30 teams. I think the NHL would be wise to pay more attention to what Canada wants rather than trying to satisfy Americans who don't even want to watch hockey.

Senators could win the stanley cup this year and it proves nothing about if they're better than the leafs...when it comes down to sudden death type games...leafs are better...no if ands or buts...

Was it nice seeing playoffs games being pretty much leaf home games at ottawa and toronto...we would travel 3 hours to watch the leafs in ottawa....ottawa residents can't be bothered to head downtown.

Being a dormant fan of hockey myself, along with many other americans, it's not doing as well as it did in the past because of the contract with the third party networks like OLN and whatever the hell it's on. ESPN was such a major part of the broadcasting in the states that now that it's gone nobody pays attention to it. It's not going to be around much longer in the states, is what I was getting at. Canada eats hockey, so with ESPN out of the picture in the states, the NHL would definately be wise to move to Canada... with their weird ass football.
