Well, I'd just like to say something regarding this topic.

I think the typical sniper is a loser n00b who is too scared and foolish to engage himself in the actual battle. As a self-proclaimed "shotty whore", I make a habit of hunting down any and all snipers that kill me. You know how I do that. Because they're stupid. There is always more than 1 way to get somewhere, and if you kill me, I will find another way to personally come up from behind you and place a nice shotgun round into the back of your skull.

Now, that being said, I must say another thing. I play this game, typically, about 30 minutes - 1 hour a day on average. From the thousands of different players I've seen, the amount of "good" snipers that I've actually encountered I can count on two hands. Any fool can sit in a two-story building and pull the trigger when someone walks by. I think you guys give yourselves too much credit. Some of you guys are probably simply amazing, but I think just about everyone else generally sucks at sniping.

Now, I would say to be a "good" sniper, you would have to be able to meet people, hand-to-hand combat style, and consistently kill them without using your scope. Now that is very difficult. I salute any and all who can consistently do this. That is why I show a great deal of respect to the players, good or not, who have the balls to walk up and fight a shotgun-weilding newb with a Mauser or sniper rifle. I myself have been consistently practicing with this rifle (The Mauser), and it is a very hard weapon to use. I would challenge any sniper here to play "on the field" weilding just the Axis rifle. Any one who can hold their own out there doing this, you OWN.

I'm not the greatest sniper but I will whip it out occassionaly one of my favorite parts of this game is when you see a sniper at the same time that he sees you and you are trying to pull the trigger before he does and you get that panic feeling in the back of your throat. LOL
Also my primary is a SMG and I love trying to take on a sniper from long range by running at him dodging like crazy trying to get close enough for the kill.

they rule, i love a good sniping battle, just picking off the grunts running around the arena like chickes. I believe that to be a good MOHAA player sniping is the only way, it takes patience, confidence, and good accuracy and most important trying to make 1 shot kills.
