open up unlocks.py in Battlefield 2 Demo\python\stats and change
defaultUnlocks = [0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0]
to
defaultUnlocks = [1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1]
Edit that on a server and anyone can join and play, no mods required. All weapons unlocked.

So the weapons themselves are in the demo? I assumed the guy who made that mod ripped them from the retail and put them in.
Will that give people a choice or will they be stuck with the unlocked weapons?

Hey performance guys, how much of a difference would there be in performance from having DDR PC2700 then having PC3200 ? Same amount...512MB
Cause hell if need be, I will strip it from my bro's pc and pop the PC3200's in mine. the_finger:

The extra weapons are lame, why the hell would the MEC (Middle Eastern Colation) have SA80s the British Army rifle?

You have a choice, thers a little up\down arrow toggle button you can click to use the unlocked weapon or the standard one. The weapons are in the demo so you can remove that mod from earlier and they will still work assuming you edited that file. Im not sure if theyre the proper weapons ofr the mec though, seems kinda cheesy they would get the same weapons as the us.

Just a few questions, this is the 32b player demo right, will all of the red sections be available in the 64 player? i'm sure i saw a comparison pic and it was basically the same for 32 and 64. Its pointless wasting all that space on the map.....
When looking at the server list, how come some show up as 64/40 instead of like 58 of 64?
And I.P addresses, how do I know if an I.P is in my country, do the first numbers tell you anything, example: 11. = Germany, etc because I hate joining a server and finiding out its in, like, Mongolia with a 9998 ping
btw this demo is so addictive....i've not even been commander yet...

I don't think you'd notice a difference.

You could start by looking at the ping.

Just had a seahawk with 4 passangers landing beside me on hotel roof, slapped some c4 to it and blew the shit out of all us, fun stuff. biggrin:
Its a real bastard when the us have that area capped, i was special ops mec on the hotel roof later in the round, had some c4 around the top of the ladder, me laying prone with a big stupid grin on my face detonater in hand. None of them came up after me despite me sniping them from above. cuss: Ive also seen snipers place claymore mines around the ladder area, good stuff to see a guy get sent flying from the blast.

That was bad, the us were literally walking about our main spawn not being shot at, even see a few of my team racing enemies to vehicles instead of shooting them. oOo:
