and im sure once ben etc found out about the plane crashing - the hanso company or whatever probaly could cover it up and make them believe to be all dead so that they could use the crash victims as research etc.

In the preview it looks like "Ben" has a hood over his head. I was wondering if that was really Locke's dad under there. "Because I can't" is Locke saying he can't kill the guy because it is his dad?

its because the creators of lost wanted to do 2 seasons. 2 season x 24 eps a season = 48 eps.

ABC wants to milk the cash cow so they negotiated for 3 years, 48/3 years = 16 eps a season.

This show just kicked it up a notch.

My guesses - Jacob is the manifestation of "The Island". Ben is fucking with the Island's mojo, and thats why Jacob needs Locke's help - to undo the shit Ben and Richard have done (although its obvious Richard has become, to an extent, aware of Ben's bullshit).

Mikhals asskicking was sweet.

Did anyone else see Jacob after he pushed Locke against the wall?

Also, knowing that Richard and Ben have history makes me want to go back and see what Richard said to Locke about Ben initially to see if there are any clues as to what their relationship is and who Richard is.

Recap, though. So the "hostiles" were supposedly natives who overtook Dharma and then took over the island but continued recruiting people to the island (Richard recruited Juliette recently)

but Locke is dead, how can it be a future Locke?

BUT, the profile really does look like Locke's head. AND they kept saying how Locke was special, maybe something between him and Jacob is why he is important? AND with all the weird things that have happened, it probably isn't safe to assume that just because Locke got shot in the stomach and left for dead that he is actually going to die.
