He wasn't, he was going attempting to go off of an old stereotype that all hippies just sat around doing drugs, singing songs and wrinting poems.
Of course the ultimate irony is that in the posts leading up to this, Strvs himself stereotyped conservatives by saying "you conservatives never shutup with the "anti-american" bullshit".
But none of these "polical debates" on these forums are actually debates. They while they may start out as one, they ultimately degrade into an insult slinging match. Where the bandwagon followers proclaim "owned" and follow up with "(whatever group) is the best and (opposite group) sucks" just because one of the bandwagon leaders came up with a particularly creative insult.
Every thread with even a little bit of politics degrades into that situation, may it America vs Canada, Liberal vs Conservative, Democrat vs Republican, it always becomes the same stupid insult slinging thread in which the same people say the same things they said in the other threads with the same lack of evidence and same
heavy bias.
Theres absolutely no point to even bring up any thing political on this unless you're willing to keep it civil and actually back up your opinions with a unbiased source (as hard as it is to find one).
