Clerks was good - Mallrats was a piece of shit (although I like it), Chasing Amy was both original and well written, probably the best overall Smith movie, and Dogma was well played too, imo.
Jay & Silent Bob strike back was all over the place, but It was fun and I lol'd a few times.
I thought Clerks 2 was hilarious. I wasnt expecting much after Jersey Girl.

well, i definitely agree that clerks and the clerks cartoons were the best, but i liked his others. dogma, jay and silent bob strike back, and mallrats were good, but not better than clerks. i loved clerks 2 because its kevin smith basically saying how much he loves new jersey for 2 hours....not that he doesnt do that in all of his movies....

yeah kevin smith is the man, but if anyone has seen an evening with kevin smith you would know he will be the best one to say his movies look like shit. but overall hes the shit. all of his movies are great minus jersey girl.

he tried too hard to cram a storyline into clerks 2. i loved clerks because it was clerks, it had somewhat of a plot but it was barely there; for the most part it was two guys dicking around. clerks 2 became this crazy i love her but i'm enganged/i love you man don't leave me bullshit fuckfest which killed the whole thing for me. i watched dogma recently and it wasn't as good as i remember it being. i don't know, good story though. jay and silent bob i haven't seen in awhile, but i remember it being really boring. they tried too hard to suit all the jokes to the 'jay and silent bob' type joke. his college sessions are the best though.
holy fuck long post batman, someone's bored at work.
