Not really of me, but I went to Seattle this weekend to watch the Seahawks and Giants, as well as the Mairners and A's:

it was a lot of fun. i'm not the biggest nfl fan, but i try to follow a little bit. the game was amazing. i've never been in a louder building in my life. 68,100+ screaming people.
Seattle is an awesome city. really nice there and I hope i can go back again someday.

well you hit a great spot, seattle has the loudest stadium in the league, their stadium has more opponent false starts than any other out there.
they call the fans the 12th man there

yeah, i know. It's all over the walls. they raise the 12th man flag before the game and my ears were ringing after the game for a good couple hours.
I recorded the game and the TV doesn't do it justice to how loud it is there. no wonder eli and the offence had 3 false starts in the game. i can't even hear what someone is saying to me in the next seat. it was unbelievable.
i've been in a couple loud buildings, game 6 flames vs wings in 04 and a cfl game in montreal (montreal fans are crazy) were both extremly loud, but nothing like this.

Thats awesome. Wish i could go to an NFL game. Unfortunatley the tickets are ridiculous around here for the two shit box teams, the Ravens and Skins.

Is that the football stadium in the BG lurking over the baseball stadium?

No, that's the roof to safeco. not sure if it totally covers it or not. I didn't see the roof move, it was open the entire weekend.
The football stadium would be right to the left (north) of where the picture is.
Here's a writeup of the trip I did on a CFL site if you guys want to read it.
"So I’m back from my trip. Was absolutely beautiful. Weather was great. Around 20-25C and clear blue skies.
Got into Seattle Sunday morning really early. Did some walking around downtown and went to the hawk’s game at 1:00.
Our seats were in the end zone, which kind of sucked. It was a little difficult to see, but better than nothing. I have also sat in end zone seats in Montreal. I was in the first row for that game so those were even worse. Couldn't see a thing. Anyway, got there early and got a couple shirts from the store and walked around the stadium. Beautiful stadium. Three levels and all of them have their own concourse. There were 68,100+ people at the game and lineups were minimal. Line to the bathroom was long, but it moved pretty fast. lots of space to walk around and lots of food and stuff like that. Could only find Bud Light to drink though, and that stuff tastes like ****e. I am so glad we have Canadian beer because it's true; the mainstream American beer is horrible.
Most of the people were really friendly. It was actually Canada day at the game. They sang O' Canada before the game. In the game day magazine it said there was a girl singing at the game from Vancouver and the Seahawks were her favorite team so she came down to sing the anthem.
Really huge emphasis on the 12th man, being the fans in the stands. There are murals on the walls about the 12th man and they raised the 12th man flag opposite the American flag at the end of the stadium. I think they probably do that before every game. Everyone went nuts. That was by far the loudest sporting even t I had ever been to. Of course there were 68 thousand people there, but it was deafening. TV doesn't do it justice to how loud it was. I taped the game, but there is nothing like hearing that crowd.
During warm-up every time a NY player would come out of the tunnel or go back the fans would boo, and cheer every time a Seattle player came on the field. Chants of "New York Sucks" were heard often.
Fans there are crazy. They all get dressed up. There are people in their 60's wearing face paint. People with green/blue hair people in full football uniforms and everyone is in the stands before the anthems are sung.
The crowd is deafening on defense and extremely quite on offence. Not sure if their really football smart, or just following everyone else’s lead. I would say 100% that the crowd is louder on defense than when the Seahawks scored a TD.
I didn’t sit down until the hawks scored their second TD with about 6 min left in Q1. If I had, I wouldn't have been able to see and the drunk guy behind me would have yelled at me to stand up.
I sat down for 10 seconds after the second td before I had to stand up again. I'm sure there were people that spent the entire game standing.
The drunk guy was actually a bit of an *******. He yelled at some NY fans around us the whole game and was telling them to get the F out of the stadium and jingling his keys telling them to go home now and all that, but it was pretty much just the one guy. He was probably 21.
I watched the post game and they said NY had 3 false start penalties due to the noise and I would agree with that. Surprised it wasn't more. I can hardly talk to the guy in the seat next to me when the crowd is yelling let alone Eli trying to yell to his offence. There was no way that anyone could hear him.
Seahawks game was amazing and I would go back in a second.
Asked a guy on the 50 yard line what he pays for his tickets and he said they have to pay $3000/year to reserve the seat then pay for each game day ticket which is around $75. So it's not cheap, although you get your name on the seat.
If you get the chance to go, do it. You won't regret it. I'm a way bigger CFL fan than I am NFL, but it was awesome.
Baseball game was great also. Crowd certainly wasn't as big, or nearly as loud, but it was a really good game. The stadiums are right next to each other. The shop at Safeco is huge too. Lots of stuff in there.
9-6 Oakland in the 9th and Seattle came back to tie it and then went to the 10th and won it. Great game. Looked like Oakland would run away with it because at one point it was 9-3 Oakland.
Tons of places to eat in Safeco tons of variety like sushi and whole chickens and stuff like that.
If Calgary wants to build any new stadium for baseball, hockey football whatever, just look at the stadiums they have in Seattle because they are amazing."

Too bad Eli sucked cock for most the game
At least Giants know how to comeback...
...if they play like they're 10+ behind the whole game they would go undefeated.
