I persoanly believe in The Lord Jesus Christ. I believe that God sent his one and only son to die for us so that we may have everlasting life. God loves us, and when Adam and Eve messed up in the garden of Eden, he threw them out. So now man is being punished for his sins, and we can be saved from them by accepting Jesus as our lord and saviour. So we either have a choice to accept Jesus and got to heaven, or deny HIm and go to hell, its up to us, but I would have to say the best decision would be to accept him. :)

One of the reasons I'm not religious is all the 'rules' life is annoying enough.

[quote:d43ec]Tripper, this is the statement that you posted that started this whole thing.
Ever heard of amendments?? Probably not. So maybe go research our history a little more before you start calling our document that our government is based on a "foolish contradictory document".

i find the bible being written as a fairy tale a little more believable than some supernatural being just waved his hands for 6 days and then whacked off for the 7th creating life on earth

I like the idea that the bible is a metaphorical view point. That's what I was brought up to believe.

If there is one thing i like about religions and god jesus etc its the jokes and piss takes of them.
Eddie Izzard is great at jesus stories
and the episode of Bottom (rick mayall & ade(sp?) edmundson), where a baby is left at their door, and they end up finding gifts of a box of chocolates, a halloween mask and some aftershave.
Which were Gold, Frankenstien and Grrr. biggrin:
class comedy
to name but two...

I believe the Bilble is ture, completely. When you truly experience Jesus, you will know that it is ture, and I know it is. There is so much evidence, I dont think the universe was created by a big bang all on its own. :)

Well I guess I never will, since I dont plan on "experiencing Jesus" you seem pretty brainwashed (no offence intended) to not see even some of the flaws in the bible. But if you want to believe the bible word for word thats your "god" given right.

I agree with Zapatoski, I beleive in God. And for those who think that one being creating the earth is laughable, then how else do think it happened? Big Bang?? Well I have heard the odds of a thing of the Big Bang happening are one in some millions upon millions. ANd also, even if it had occurred, then where did the gas that caused it come from. Also, there is the fact of the bible. Numerous arcahelogical discoveries have shown the bible to be from the time period it is said to be from, also, numerous predictions from the bible have been fulfilled.
Just my 2 cents

Well, maybe I am brainwashed, but its be Cokes, oh wait Im addicted to them. Anwayws, the Bible doesnt say God just waved His hand, although He could have if He had wanted to. The Bible says He spoke and it happend, so I gueess that how it happend. I just do not see how somebody could nto believe in God at all, I mean with how detalied the world is, it just does not make sense to me. It is obvious there is a God, and I know its is the God who's son is Jesus Christ.

Well its not obivious to me, never seen god personally and untill I do, I wont believe in him. I believe the world is as it is due to the wonders of science. By the way can no one explaine the adam and eve stuff, I mean in order for that to have been true and work they would have had to commit a SIN....called incest.

Get a life there is no god the bible is the largest and best thought out SCAM on earth. How many book companies make bibles? why in some bibles does god talk about computers and porn, and other bad things that werent around 2,000 years ago? Does god still talk ot people? are they in assylums? Common really base your beilefs on a fact. Or as they say in dogma dont believe have a good idea.
