[quote:c3576]actually many US states allow you to defend your PROPERTY, even if they badguy doesn't pose a threat to you.

In Florida it is illegal to chain a crocodile to a fire hydrant and in Virginia it is legal to beat your wife on the steps of the courthouse at noon.
There are all types of dumb laws.
I love this forum. It's fun.

[quote:2b6b3]yes Jingles, we can always just start the server back up, but does that give the asshats a right to keep crashing it?
TeamGOD Pu$$y : "im gonna crash your server now! TEAMGOD.NET OWNS YOU!"
Server Admin : "its no big deal, ill just get it back up in a few minutes."
i mean cmon. [/quote:2b6b3]
You have a point.
But then can't you just ban him?
Actually, that fake conversation is very similar to the time when I saw Team God freak:
He crashed the server and said "I own you" and kept coming back...
They are dumb.

as you said they can keep coming back. banning really has no effect unless you ban the whole subnet, but who knows who else you are banning in the process. the only way i can see an end to TG is to plain out beat the crap out of them. then maybe they will learn some server manners. fire2:

I think something along the lines of "Teamgod was shut down due to legal action" will have the same effect.

Lifesavers, I appreciate your help. I got screenshots from the forum and added them to the list of the ones we're faxing to their web host. Just next time, send me the link through a PM =)
