I presented facts, Short Hand. Something that seems to be innately impossible for you to do in an argument, likely due to your complete and utter lack of any education worth mentioning. Please go back to something you know, perhaps the Insult Pic Thread.[/quote:2e20b]

[quote:2d4f6]With the US election neck to neck both parties are attempting to look outside the box to gain support and more importantly votes. This interestingly enough has lead both parties to campaign in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Yup. The most Americanized city in the world has now become a new battleground…umm…state (!!??) in the race to the White House. With an incredible 8% of the city’s population being comprised of dual citizens or Americans living in Calgary, this Canadian city could be the deciding factor in the race if it comes down to the wire this November. Obviously there are many American voters abroad, however Calgary holds a slightly larger significance due to the number of potential voters and the location which allows for easier access for campaigning. John Kerry’s sister will leading the Kerry camp here in Calgary, while a local volunteer will be spreading the President’s message of sorrow….errr…prosperity across the city.

Good shit. If Calgary actually decides the US presidency I am going to be laughing hysterically for the next month.[/quote:2d4f6]

Please stop talking until you have some semblance of a clue as to what you are saying. The only "reform" in China has been there for a decade, and they're called Spheres of Influence. These are economic zones in urban areas that allow for Capitalism to be practiced to a certain degree. China is most certainly not going to move away from Communism any time soon. Communism is the only thing keeping the current ruling elite in power over there at the moment, so disowning it would be like giving up their power. Trust me, this will not happen. The only way China will break away from Communism is if Taiwan finally coordinates an uprising within the countryside of China. Again, this is not very likely. So, minus the Spheres of Influence and a bit more technology in the urban sector, this most certainly is the China of the 1950s.

Now, when I have to CONSTANTLY explain EVERYTHING to you because you make these wild comments out of deep left field somewhere, I get irritated and make the point that you are OBVIOUSLY uneducated because you haven't a damned clue what you're saying.

Now, STFU and stay out of the big boys' conversations until you're a little older, son.

Tell you what, why don't you stop looking like a flaming moron and try to contest things with facts.

Otherwise, if you can't contribute to the thread in an intelligent manner you are offtopic: and the mods will be asking ban: for instigating a flame war.

EDIT:: GG editing your post to add more. I just explained to you that they are NOT REFORMING.

Im not trying to start some debate over the issue, im only stating that

"Economists have commented on China's huge growth"

&

"That China Reformed its economy in 1979."

(Thus not making it like the China of 1950.) AT LEAST NOT EXACTLY.....

Lots of backpeddling is all I'm seeing here.

I wasn't proven wrong in the DU thread, I just missed the drift on it somehow. Probably because there was a tropical storm over my head. The bottom line - since you didn't read anything I posted, apparently - is that the radioactive content of DU munitions is so miniscule that it has no residual impact on the environment. Now, upon impact, it could very well affect the individual. However, that makes sense, considering you're TRYING TO KILL the person you're shooting. But that's another thread entirely and I don't want to get too offtopic:

The only reforms China has made is allowing more technology and introducing Spheres of Influence. That's it. That is not significant reform and they aren't looking to reform any further than that.

Now please, either stop talking or stop breathing. Preferrably the latter, the gene pool could use the clean up.

you sound like Levy here.

(Also note when toxic waste turns into a aerosol and drifts around, into the water etc etc, it doesn't matter how radio active it is. What matters is the toxicity you just digested, inhailed etc is extremely harmful to your body. )

It just seems you never have a proper tone to respect other people's view in any type of debate, all you do is call them a retard. (Which OR is not).

Whenever an appropriately researched or educated opinion is presented in any debate, you'll find that I am appropriately respectful of their point or counter-point. What is irritating is when I try to have an intelligent conversation or debate about something, and you come along and make these totally baseless or ignorant statements which I then have to counter despite their invalidity. That's annoying.

So, Short Hand, you'll find that I will almost never have anything resembling a respectful tone when dealing with you so long as you keep spewing ignorant bullshit. And you'll also find that when OR presents his views in a way that isn't instigatory - so long as it isn't one of those wild-ass things out of left field - I'm more than happy to discuss matters in a respectful tone.

Now, please, with all due respect, get the fuck out of my thread.

I have never seen you deal respectfully with anyone in these kinds of things. Ever.
