[quote="mr.miyagi":0d84a]Pyro just owned joo. Without guns you'd be a more peaceful country. Nobody needs guns. As stated, they're used to harm or kill, theres no denying this.
Go watch Bowling For Columbine and come back bitchin at how he portrayed everything all wrong, theres jus no escaping some things. There'll always be gun lovers but when it boils down to things, we don't need em.
Theres always other ways............like...kissing..... angel:[/quote:0d84a]

If guns are not available, they'll simply use something else you doorknobs: availability has never stopped any determined person from doing anything. Why do I bother ??

That being said, I don't see a need for the average Joe to possess the firepower shown in the video.
Agree to disagree ? FUCK NO. That's exactly the kind of attitude that enables politicians to strip you of an increasing number of rights for no other reason than to give you a semblance of safety when the reality is you're no safer than when things started.

Face it: the real problem is a lack of

- intelligence,
- awareness,
- knowledge,
- training,
- consideration,
- respect.

Human nature is a bitch... and until someone comes along with a better solution, firearms have their place as deterrents, on top of their many recreational uses. Oh, and to whoever requested I give them the gunfacts: google it, you lazy fuck. Alternately, it's on canadiangunnutz.com

If guns were banned only the bad guys would be able to get them, just like drugs. The only people who have them would be criminals, great idea. There wouldn't be any way to logistically get rid of them all or stopping anyone from getting them by illegal means, just as is the problem with drugs. Thinking that we can just throw out all guns and the world would magically become a better place is ignorant.

but the actual legality of a civilian to buy a gun, i mean fair enough if the police would have them to use against force of people who use them aswell, but selling guns to any random hick or dick or harry just adds to the problem.

Clarity of thought and sentence structure are important.

Ignoring what i am saying and focusing on any grammatical errors isnt important, unless you voted for Bush because being ignorant should come natural to you.

I have:
an Auto-Ordnance 1911 .45 cal
a 1936 German Luger that my Dad gave me
a .30-'06 rifle w/scope
and a lever action pellet rifle

Still at my Dad's house, but that he has given to me, I have:
a 20 gauge shotgun
a 12 gauge shotgun
an 18 gauge shotgun
a .410 gauge shotgun
and a .38 cal revolver

(I might not get to keep the .410 since it was really a gift that he gave my sister on her 14th birthday)

at my father-in-law's house (again, he has said they are mine someday) there is:

two matching black powder revolvers (replicas of - 1860 Army Colt and 1851 Navy Colt)
a new Colt SA Army that was given to my father-in-law by the bank he works for when he reached his 50th anniversary with the bank.

a M1 Carbine

a .38 revolver

a .22 revolver

a .410 double-barrel shotgun that is about 50 years old

a .22 lever action rifle

a P-38 pistol

and ... hmmmm ... I guess that's about it. Might be a couple that I missed
