Good thing about unreal engines is theyre usually VERY moddable and mod friendly. Allied assault obviously was a good game but the modified quake 3 engine they used with that weird model format really screwed over any serious mods from ever being made, there were a few attempts but they never really looked that good.
Looking through the folders theres a load of .txf files, if the engine works the same as the previous versions a whole lot can be changed by just modifying values, like mohaa. Wish i could figure out how to unlock the 03 into the demo. eek:

You actually have that as an option in your loadout before you jump, as well as an mp40.

Interesting upgrades system. Top upgrade for the Thompson is a 50 round drum while the highest Garand upgrade provides the ability to launch rifle grenades which is all sorts of fun.

Also I would like to add one more thing.
Do not go by the readme. It states a lot of things are not supported but I think what EA means is they will not offer tech support for the software and hardware listed.
Your best bet is to give it a shot if you have the time to download and just check it out.

good times to be had when you land on the ledge of that tower with the 2 riflemen in it, picked off mosta the germans at the top guarding the aa guns. biggrin:
Anyone know how to "flare" the chute and how do you do the underhand grenade throw so it doesn't go so far? eek:

Looks beautiful However there are some minor graphic glitches. some things like buttons reflect too much light so to speak.
see some of my screen shots above, make sure you click on the 1920x1200 link in the upper left hand corner.
I will post more after I cut my grass.

LOL yeah the buttons are pretty weird, the germans would have no need for spotlights if they were that shiny in real life. biggrin:
