newsflash: leafs not in playoffs, NHL doesnt revolve around leafs, ottawa could win the cup and prove something its called they won the stanley cup in the last 60 years. leafs could beat the sens in the playoffs every year but if they dont win the cup it doesnt mean anything.

Good fight, Pens fans. Hard fought series, but I just got the feeling that the Sens were firing on all cylinders. They got lots of supplemental scoring, played really tight team defense and Emery was rock solid.

Calgary vs Detroit: Ya know, the fact that this series is tied doesn't surprise me at all. I knew Calgary would rebound at home. I dunno what it is about the Saddledome, but the Flames are unbeatable. Too bad Detroit has home ice advantage if it goes 7 games.

Anaheim vs Minnesota: Whatta nasty series that turned out to be. Good thing it ended when it did or someone was gonna get killed!

Vancouver vs Dallas: GAH! I was praying the 'nucks would finish Dallas off. Ah well. This is a REALLY boring series...

refs have been brutal since the lockout. hooking and holding penalties are ridiculous. I was just watching some clips from 04 calgary/detroit. that was real hockey.

as for being +47 in penalties, well we were 28th in the league in PP% up until about march. Then it caught fire and we were at about 35% and shot up to 7th in the league. Don't know what out PP% is in this series, but it has to be super high. For most of the year calgary was horrible on the PP and PK, don't know exactly why that has changed.
