I think Joe was trying to do just that (bashing with a 'zooka) with his bazooka mod, but deemed it impossible. Maybe once the SDK comes out, we could very well use a 'zooka like a Louisville Slugger...heh heh.

I prefer the Bazooka to the shotgun. The Rocket launcher slows you down and has a very slow reload rate. At least there's a chance against the bazooka. What I hate more than the shotgun is some nug screamiing about how good he is after using it. I was on last night with a wingnut and he was braggin about how good his score was on Algiers. I said it was "Shotguneriffic"...

what would really be cool is the ability to prone and you got real machjine guns like the Mg42 except it only has 150 bullets and when you prone with a machine ghun it has a kickstand(god damn i just forgot what it was called)

Red soccer devil tried to limit the amount of ammo you had with the mg42 and make it more accurate, but he ran into some problems and I believe gave up to work on the chat filter script which is a big success |
I'd remove none of them. I'd rather have the ability to set balance ratios for weapon selection. Only a percentage of each team can use each weapon, when you join the server or change weapons you can only choose a weapon category that has not been exhausted. For instance:
So, in a server with 10 on your team, only 2 people can use the shotgun at any one time, only one bazooka. Whereas the whole team could use rifles and 5 could use SMGs. This would make games more balanced, both in CKR and stock servers. The ratios should be variable, so you can preselect the weapon balance for your server. I think there is a good variety of weapons in MOH:AA but, seeing as there is no stopping you from choosing whatever weapon you like, unlike CS, or Quake, you can not always guarentee that the game is balanced. |
