I'll tell you the stroy I tole Red. So I was playing baseball in the summer, for all-stars! The complex we play at has a Soccer, Softball, and Baseball field. Well when me and my freind were warming up, he hit one dead over the fence and on to the soccer filed, my coach was all like "we only get a limited number of baseballs a season! Go get it !" So we go to the outfield fence and see there is a soccer team practicing, so we ask one of em to throw the ball back to us. Honest to god, he maybe projected the ball 5 feet... We were laughin sooooooo fuckin hard! so in the end, soccer is alright, but it's for people who can't throw. Altough there are some exceptions.

So because some limp dick couldn't throw a baseball any distance it automatically means every soccer player can't throw a ball. eek:

Your powers of reasoning astound me..

i play baseball , and in peanuts i thru the ball from centerfield to home plate straight into the catchers glove when i was 7 , i got the person out too angel:

Innoxx 11-21-2002 09:36 PM

Soccer = football, I'm probably the only guy in Canada who actually calls it football, as for american football, I call it "a sport that is played by damaged people". I hate ASTIPDP.

Airborne Butters 11-21-2002 09:37 PM

Gerard, I know your Irish and soccer is the national everything, but I must say it was him and many others I've seen.

Pyro 11-21-2002 10:01 PM

Yeah thats the south of ireland though. Soccer IS the number one sport world wide in terms of popularity.

Innoxx 11-22-2002 11:42 AM

Really? still fun though.

Bazooka_Joe 11-22-2002 12:19 PM

I want a sport mixed with Caber tossing and Football. The guy gets a 20 yard handicap, then has to chuck the log before hes tackled.

MrLevinstein 11-22-2002 11:14 PM

LOL you need the pads. lets see you go helmate to helmate and walk away like nothing happened. football is harder its man on man for lineman pushing someone around is most definatly harder than running and kicking a ball and hoping your jimmy doesnt get wedged inbetween 2 pairs of cleats

Bullet Sponge 11-23-2002 02:28 AM

I'm willing to bet the crosscountry team can run the football team , American or otherwise , into a puking fit . I was on the barfing end in high school , and it sucked !

Rugby = better
American football isn't what it used to be, Canadian football is better.

MrLevinstein 11-23-2002 03:53 PM

they are essentially the same thing. no american sport is what it usta be

Chronic Diarrhea 11-23-2002 04:31 PM

Yeah, a head-to-head hit in the open field in football hurts real bad. It fucks you up pretty good for a few minutes, especially when you are running the ball the very next play.

have you played for the chicago bears?

Captain Bunny 11-24-2002 08:58 AM

As "soccer" being the most internationaly played game, why on earth call it soccer. I think if it was meant to be called soccer then the association of it would be called FISA and not FIFA.
soccer hake:

Innoxx 11-24-2002 09:48 AM

Yeah, american football is pretty weak, i played rugby back in the day and it is much more challenging and IMO much more fun, I hate watching american footbell too, especially the NFL, it's too commercialised.

Milla 11-24-2002 11:32 AM

I'll tell ya, soccer is the most boring sport to watch and it gets very annoying to play, which is probably why i havent ever played. Its just not as fun as ice hockey or lacrosse

Innoxx 11-24-2002 12:57 PM

Yeah, hockey owns all.

11-24-2002 02:38 PM

baseball is boring to watch but fun to play... sometimes oOo:

11-24-2002 02:56 PM

I play intramural indoor futboll at school, it's very intense and fun with a shorter field inside a gym. Also I play football at my high school and trust me, it's not for pansies.

Zap. USMC 11-24-2002 03:08 PM

I play soccer, it isn't "hard", but it's challenging. You have to be in excellent shape, and be coordinated with your feet.

I play sports to get in shape, now I run cross country and swim.
