Why was there no lugar in the game?
can anyone answer that?
because the lugar was an excellent gun and a very popular one so why wasn't it in the game |
The Luger pistol is in the game. biggrin:
|
U must be realy bored to not know wat the weapons are in the game.
|
The luger wasn't in the game
The luger was not in the game. The pistol you musy be refering to is the
P-38. There might be one in Spearhead, but not Allied Assault. The reason why is probably because all in all, in WW2 most German officers and enlisted me who carried pistols carried the P-38, because it was more reliable than the luger, and if I am correct it fired faster, I'm not sure about that though. |
That sounds about right. If it was the inferior of the two, that's probably why it was left out of the game. biggrin:
|
Plus the fact that the Luger sometimes..fired for no good reason.
|
It fired for no reason?
Sounds like aimbot! mwah: |
p38 pwns ... thats why

Lugar wass from WW1 too....the P38 replaced it and few germans used lugars during WW2
|
it was created in 1938
hence the the name p=pistol 38 cool:
|
oOo:
Remember that episode of Band of Brothers? Can't remember the character's name, but he finds a luger and it accidentally goes off and kills him! |
Yup it sounds like Bob how do u think he shot himself.
|
He was probably masturbating too hard. It's not smart to stick a loaded gun in your pants without turning on the safety. The guy died of stupidity, many of you will die in the same manner.

....but they still have safety's.

Well, what should I call him? He's stupid. Hell, it's just common sense to turn on the safety when you put a laoded gun in your trousers. I'm not making a generalization Mad, in fact 8 out of 10 people are not too bright.
|
Where u got the idea a lugEr (not lugar) was an excellent gun (pistol) ill never guess. It was a piece of shit due to its toggle actions unreliability in field conditions. The popularity comes from its unique (not revolutionary) design, which u will notice was rarely copied or developed upon.
|
In addition the reason lugers went off unpredictably had nada to do with safetys or triggers. The toggle action of it would make downward pressure on the top of the pistol drive the action forward, a sharp enough blow to the top and it went off. Out of adjustment? Debris? It could go off very easily since there was nothing that prevented outside forces from acting on the action.
|
Luger sounds like a really really shitty gun. i don't wanna carry anything around that could go off at any time and kill me!
|
it was big as hell i guess it was mainly used for bashing the shit out of peeps biggrin:
