Hi, my question may sound stupid but i'm not english or american and i have seen too many times people talking about "1337 players" or something like that....by the context i guessed that it means "an awesome player" but i'm not sure.
Can anybody tell me what does "1337" means and why?

Well, people usually try to feel good about themselves, to they call themselves l33t. Yes, it is quite sad, but some people need a confidence boost.
