I went to a urologist. and today I had lithotripsy. (shock waves that blast the stones) I passed 3 so far. have a tube up in there too. Get that out monday. I had Kidney Stones right after Sep 11th. Had to stay at home in bed on some serious meds (Percocet) and had to consume a large lake of water. Was pissing blood for about the next two months too. VERY VERY Painfull! I mean doubled over and puking because of the pain. My wife said I was a wuss cuz she'd been through worse (we've got two kids). Then she saw one of my stones. It looked like a little version of a ninja throwing star!! cry:

5% uric acid
1.5%cystein
People with too much serum calcium (hyperparathyriodism) are highly prone to calcium stone fromation.
Organisms that procuce urinary tract infections make cause stones.
Improper diet also plays a role( like strict diets for bodybuilders)
Those were the main causes listed

It's formed in your kidney, it doesn't pass through it. Your kidneys filter all the stuff your body doesn't need and then sends it to your bladder and out our penis. So if you haev stones in there, eventually they'll flow into the bladder and out the penis.

I know the feeling,I have that SOB,I went to Brigham Woman's Hospital twice,ER.
When I 1st notice,my bladder was in pain,but not so much,then 10-15 minutes later,The pain is so powerful,you can't even breath,You want shit,piss at the same time,your stomach hurts, legs,you want to cry. oOo:
I had 4 bags of IV,and Insuline 4 times within 12 hours.I got to the hospital at 9pm and left next day at 10:00 am.I beleive I went to the bathroom trying to shit at least 15 times,but it's just the feeling,I didn't shit once.

I don't about giving birth,but from natural causes,kidney stones by far is the most painful. annoy:
