Two installs of Allied Assualt need help
I am trying to do two seperate installs of Allied Assualt on one hard drive, dont ask why it a bit complicated lol. Anyay when i try and install it a second time the install feature come up with the Modify, Repair uninstall cobblers. Is there anyway roound this just to do a seperate install.

So let me get this straight, you want a mirrored copy of AA on your hard drive along with the original? I don't think you can install it twice. Once its writes the game in your registry it will only try to repair/unistall it. I think the only way you'll be able to do this is to manually copy/paste all of the files, to have 2 copies on the same harddrive.
Why do you want to do this? Mod? |

Try this...
Making a partition on the drive and installing the second copy to that. See if that will work for you.

Great idea just be careful with partitioning a drive, it can result in complete disaster (Ya i found out the hard way). |

Oh yes. The best thing to do, is if he has TWO HD's too install that on one drive and then copy and paste. Of COURSE - he can always get a RIPPED copy of the game that wont point to any registery settings if he's using it primarily to make a mod, and using his RETAIL to play the game. |
