lightning...
could someone tell me how to capture lightning, and just lightning. i dont want any of the background, so any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance

You could use the pen tool and use paths to select it, but that would be really tedious. You might also try duplicating the layer, upping the contrast, and selecting with the magic wand. Once you have the selection, switch back to the other layer and cut it out.

do you mean just like the highlights or something?

in photoshop you can use a blurry brush.. select "colour dodge" for mode at teh top... then use a bright color over a dark background and than make your lightning on your own, if tahts what you wanted
|
no, actually
no actually i was talking about this. taking a pickure with lightning in it, then removing everything in that picture, except the lightning. but as you can see by my half-made sig, i accomplished that. thanks for the help. and i will look for that program on kazaa. thanks for the advice
