That aint no hack boyo thats a script evil:

You cant stop it.

The script works by instantaneously switching your name to `console` for bound phrases to be hit on keybinds like `your consoles hacked blah blah bullshit` then switching their name straight back to original before anyone sees it.

Most scanners will kick anyone playing under the alais `console` but as this only briefly switches names, the scanners wont pick it up.

Basically they cannot print those messages up unless they are alive, so just tell them to grow up and fuck off (right before you ban them biggrin: )

To see whos doing it just watch whos alive when the messages appear, then just hold down Tab until you see their name change for a second or two.

Yeh, seen it before with another message. I wasn't too worried because it's obvious he was blagging.

If he was really in control he'd have done something console-ish. But, of course they can't.

This very same player used the respawn script.

Script kiddies annoy me. It reminds me of losers who think there's such a thing as a war in mIRC.

well they got my rcon and changed the maps i banned him i think befor he could do any thing els so thats the only way to stop them is just to bann them is there like a mod that you can all like the sub fix ok well thanks for all your help hope fully they will grow up

I some times get that shit so i just banned the name console. It dont always work but it helps

Too bad MOH is so freely moddable that it allows this kind of crap to happen.

I seriously doubt they hacked your rcon password m8.

If at all...Its far more likely they perhaps hacked into your e-mail account (using a back door etc) and obtained the password that way.

If the guy was actually initiating console commands like map-change etc then its highly unlikely your auto-kick program would keep him out anyway, you would have to ban his subnet and thats not guaranteed ban anyway as alot of ppl will tell you in here.

Basically someone who could have the knowledge to obtain your rcon password `externally` would be serious enough to get around any ban program your using.

The best answer is to randomly alter your rcon command and only entrust it to people who contribute to the server in the first place.

Powell might have a clearer idea on this, is it possible to `hack` the server to obtain rcon or is that as unlikely as it sounds? oOo:
