LOCKED THREADS?
Seriously, whats going on here?
Just ran through the MODERATION thread, and indeed there were flames but there were some good ideas. . . Why are threads being locked because SOME PERSON/S drag the thread into OFF-OFF-TOPIC land? We have tools that allow you to clean up threads that get out of control off-topic. If someone has ruined a thread, this is what should be done, not posting "Thank [insert name] for getting thread locked" - Should this have been posted in Officers Forum - maybe, but I think this forum needs to know whats going on and that mods are committed to actually doing their jobs and not making some really head-scratch worthy decisions. Feel free to comment and critique. |
i agree...every 2nd topic is getting locked. ffs annoy:

Nobody is ever happy with the mods, unless they are a mod...I'm sure if most of the people here ever became mods they wouldn't be complaining.

I've noticed this too, just didn't care too much. I probably missed out on a couple dozen replies or so telling someone to STFU or Die or some dumb shit like that. Wait a minute, that's all offtopic is anyway.
Probably too many mods. However, can't say that I've objected to them locking any particular threads. |
why do we have so many offtopic mod's anyway?
de-mod the 3 new guys that were recently moded, are they really needed? I think they are causing more problems than solving problems. |

i doubt we need this many mod's in offtopic. this place isnt that popular, but ya make it seem like there needs to be someone here 24/7.

if you want threads to stay open longer, i'm going to delete any post that has NB4LOCK in it, because that is the biggest contributor to it
