[EOI] Team "Un-Destroyed Village" Updated Pics and
 

Okie Dokie guys, we are back after a short time of leave. We are working on a few maps to add to our MOHAA: HD Pack! The one that is obtaining MAIN focus from the mod team is Aldeia (better known to some as Un-Destroyed Village). When we started on this map, it was quite some time ago...we have been working a lil off and on with it and now have decided to start production once again, in hopes of finally being done with it. This project was started WAY before EA Games decided to release the src for the stock maps...so keep in mind the amount of sheer sweat and blood that has been put into this map...some even said it was too much trouble to even attempt... guess they underestimated EOI ;). This has been a monumentous undertaking and we are VERY proud of its progress thus far. Although these pictures are from a not NEARLY finnished product, it gives the gamer, and modders alike, some sort of idealistic image of what the final product will resemble. PLEASE PLEASE bare in mind that these are TOTALLY PRE-ALPHA shots..that there is STILL PLENTY amount of work to be done (hence thats why there is not even a floor in this map yet, doing that DEAD last)...these pictures are nothing more then structually edited pieces of work. This in NO WAY is a FINAL product. Enjoy!

Looks like crap. i think you should put your lame HD into it. Textures need lots of work. and as for you final better hurry game is allmost dead. would suck to put in all that work and no one to download.

annoy: Your obviously someone who is not truly interested in giving an actual intelectual opinion towards my creation. Seriously though, if you think I am into this just to get people to download it...your sadly mistaken. We are working on this first and foremost for ourselves, our friends, and of course, the GREATFUL community. Whether or not you think it's crap is your opinion and people like you say things like that all the time, so being a modder I am allready expecting the few of you that do those things and have learned to ignore them. Thank you for your comments!

Actually it wasn't, he never finished it...he abandoned the project 1/2 way through. I asked him if he would mind if I went and created my very own because I did not want to start a project that he was planning on finnishing. Please get facts straight before you post.

M79, I agree also and appreciate very much your comment, but lets try to steer clear from all that and keep on with A Aldeia. Well guys I was wondering if any of you have any kinds of request so to speak. I mean my personal goal is to try as hard as I can to make every single room accessible while keeping the FPS rate fairly high. Trying to make this as wide and open as possible without totally destroying the MOHAA and DV feel. My other goal is to also bring the feel of that of a village right before attack. I want it to be quiet...serene and "pretty". lol So lemme know what you guys think would be a good addition! Thx and I will update pics soon!

Well, was only a matter of time before you came wandering into my thread. BUT, anyways, thanks for the input. Thing you have to keep in mind is that this is something that is not NEARLY done. I am sure as a modder and developer that you know the different stages that a mod goes through before completion. This map happens to be at a VERY early stage of development. Maybe, to give you a better idea of how far along this map is, I should give it a percentage. Its roughly 35% completed out of 100%. So, with that being said, next time you take a look at the pictures now and in the future, please bare in mind that they are VERY VERY early shots...and are only being structurally edited. In essence they are only shots of the rubble being cleared and the buildings and walkway's being fixed and straight. Thanks for your comments all the same.
