You need to use cull none line in helmet texture...

You need to use cull none line in helmet texture shader in order to make the inside look like the outside.
Or you can use us_helmet_inside model and assign other texture for it.

Exporter is in the EA's SDK. I havent heard that someone had made a direct importer for 3dsmax. But you can export files for 3dsmax from LR if you have registered version.

If you have a solid model face you can make it transparent by image editing/scripting. So id suggest combining these two tips: new legs using merge tool and making a new image for the coat....
