SFOD-D or any Special Forces/Special Ops unit don't have any one particular set of gear that they were. Being Special Operations, they tend to have a pretty large range of gear and accessories to choose from. As said, Blackhawk rigs are used by many, and becoming pretty popular. Alot of the Spec Ops guys in the Gulf were wearing MICH Helmets, they look like smaller version of the normal PASGT helmet, and have been intergrated with the use of communications gear. Knee pads are a personal choice, gloves are a personal choice.
