Right. So I got myself an interview at Tim Hortons (Coffe place, for all you Amercians.) So I'm just wondering if you guys can give me some tips for this interview. Or if anyone has ever worked at Tim Hortons can tell me what they did at the interview to get hired. Thanks.
Look nice when you go in. Don't go in wearing jeans and a T-Shirt. Wear something respectable. Dress pants and a nice shirt or something like that. You'll look a lot better than that other kids that show up with piercings in their nose and clothes that haven't been washed ever. Be confident. be able to tell them your good atributes like how you can be a team player and how your a leader etc. For Tim Hortons you don't need that stuff really, but they want to hire the best person, so think of examples of that sort of stuff before yougo in so if they ask you to describe yourself, you're ready to go.
Shake hands nice and firm, say sir/ma'am, be polite and things should go well.
Don't dress too nice. If you saw a guy in a suit interviewing for a garbage collector job you'd think he had no idea what the job was about. Dress for the job.
And American's know what a Tim Horton's is. We have them too. cool:
all i can say is bring a pen. they immeditly cross you off the list if you are asked to fill out & form then ask to borrow a pen. good luck! im guessing a tim hortens interview wont be too hard...
