hit alt enter to get out into windowed mode, and alt enter again to enter full screen.

By the way since he brought it up. I been meaning to ask this. When I switch from windowed back to full or vice versa.. it goes through a load of about 1 minute. Does everyones do that or is mine messed up somehow.

Windowed -

The only problem when playing in windowed screen is sometimes your shot doesnt register in MOHAA. The cursor sometimes goes outside of the window and will cause a laps in firing (esp with sniping) or it will minimize your screen. I have been killed plenty from that happening.

Yeah, and sometimes on slower machines it goes slower in windowed mode.

Yep...it craps out for like a min when changing to windowed mode. It's not just you....
By the way, don't try it with Spearhead because the game will crash, plus it will take forever and then crash out next time you try to play it.
You have to edit you unnamedsoldier.cfg file. It's down the bottom somewhere, ("fullscreen" 1 -- change to 0 for no fullscreen)

The reason it takes a little time between windowed and full switching, is because it turns off openGL resizes opens opengl again, and engages the game world.

What Sniper said. The OpenGL drivers have to get refreshed whenever you switch. It's like doing a vid_restart. The same goes for BF1942 and Jedi Outcast, too.

I dont know about anyone else, but BF1942 refreshes for me ALOT faster than it does in SH. However I've yet to be able to run BF in window mode. I wonder if you need to readjust the config file.

bf1942 was not really made to be played in windowed. With such a high requirements for video, and such a vast map for land air and sea vehicles. ITs just to hard for it to handle in windowed.
