Default How can I work with the .dds format - 10-13-2003, 04:43 PM

I have made posterpaks for Spearhead with no problem, simply renaming the image files with the .dds extension.

When I try this with Breakthrough, it does not work. I have installed Directx 9, but cannot find an editor that will either convert or modify .dds files.

Can anyone help?

Mpowell1944 gave me a utility for Photoshop that enabled one to save files as .dds, however, unfortunately, i lost it. If you can get in contact with him, that could be your answer. (I have a sneaking suspicion he goes by the pseudonym of just 1944 nowadays, but i could be wrong)

Can anyone confirm/deny that?
