Yup, looked foreward to the show every week when it was originally on Fox. Those were the good ole days, didn't have to worry about work or College or bills. Anyway for some stupid reason tehy cancelled the show, and the last one that aired killed off a few major characters. The one where Nathan West's brother (I think that was his name) got killed in battle was a pretty memorable one for me. Chigs were the alien species, and the show had decent CGI for it's time, an all-around solid sci-fi show that was canceled way before its time.

That show was awesome. Theres another scifi show called 'Firefly' that i thought was pretty cool, but it was canned by Fox. They released the whole series on DVD last month, though. They might do the same for Space: Above and Beyond.

Yup I downloaded all the episodes on kazaa. Heres the episode guide for SAAB.

Its a great show and back then it was fucking awesome. The most memorable episode for me was the Chiggy_Von_Richthoven episodes where the chigs created a super fighter prototype and the humans didnt know how to destroy it.

"Abandon all hope". rock:

Its jsut really gay how Fox had to cancel this show.

This was one of the few good shows to come out of the 90s,
most everything else was sheisse, mainly (un) reality TV crap.

Unfortunately the average grabasstic civillian TV watchers wouldn't know a good show if it came up behind them and bit them in the ass, so good shows get canned and we get stuck with survivor version 9.5, bachlorette 2 or 3, and Sci-fi's gayest show: scare tactics.

Space Above and Beyond by City of Prague Philharmonic.

Everytime I listen to that song it makes me feel like a child again. Brings back old memories of watching the show.

*sigh* Those were the days.

Yeah... that show was pretty fucking money. But Fox tends to cancel a lot of their good shows... Family Guy, Space Above and Beyond, Keen Eddie. Keen Eddie was fucking money, but they canned it after four weeks and kept... Fastlane. I was wicked pissed ahff.
