A movie some guy made incorperating some of the hl2 elements into a real world setting, start of the movie is kinda like 28 days.

War of the Worlds reminded me of HL2. Guy with the shotgun helping Tom Cruise kind of like the Guy in HL2 helping you with a shotgun. Big Alien Vechiles are like...well the big alien vechiles in HL2. Rockets taking down those big alien vechiles are in both the game and the movie, etc. Idk maybe im crazy.

yea i agree, war of the worlds ones were more 'intense' looking.
