A very large common spider in North America. Usually hangs in webs with its head facing the ground. It is brightly colored. Its venom is a neurotoxin similar to that of the black widow. However, its venom is not near as potent. Its bite causes local pain and redness with blisters forming. This bite usually resolves within 24 hours except for the bite mark.

True Story: Yesterday me and two buddies of mine were in a shitty little 6 hp motor boat crusing around point chevaliar, when right on the open water my mate spots a huge fucking spider - Biggest I've ever seen - crawling along the beak of my other mates hat....I was so fucking scared I nearly jumped out of the boat - Lucky I was at the nose of the boat, because I'm definite I would have.
Anyway, I guess it goes without saying that we got rid of that shit into the ocean. Still have no clue where and how a spider that big got onto our boat and on my mates hat.

My spider $0.02

a hornet flew into my car when i my family was driving to riverside to visit a family friend. the thing flew in through the back window and i was at the left window, my brother in the middle and my sister on the right window. i was about 12 and we were all screaming and yelling for my dad to stop the car. he and my uncle looked back and started laughing at us and so my dad hit the gas. my uncle tossed a newspaper back to us and my sister grabbed it and smashed the bug against my brothers forhead.

Default Crikey! - 01-22-2005, 08:32 PM

Just the other day I was working, folding clothes and this fuckin' huge crocodile burst out of these pair of socks, its tail was so sharp it chopped my manager's head off but i struggled and got a hold of its front legs, swang it around my head and threw it onto some old people in the store. It died later from staple punctures..
