Default Battlefield 2 - 08-15-2005, 12:38 PM

Ok same question thing like last time with half life 2 which ended up beign a lie cuz it seemed everyone quit playing.

Ok so is BF2 worth it and do people from here actually play it because I hate playing with random people.

So is it worth the money or no?

I think this game will be around for a while, it's not like CoD where the novelty of the game wore off about a month into it. The recording of stats is what makes me what to play more. you're actually playing for something in the game, not just entering a server and random killing

though sometimes it can be a pain in the dick where there are "accidental" team killing

I'll be playing it for awhile, and the mods are going to kick ass like Forgotten Hope 2.

yea its worth it. but its multiplayer so its pretty much all random people, but the squads bring teams together. 5 or 6 guys going around tearing shit apart. I like it, you don't die as much in squads, theres usually a medic reviving people, healing them etc. Support(thats me) putting down a wall of hotlead so we can maneuver through hotzones, engineers fixing the vehicles, assault blowing shit up, spec ops slitting throats, and snipers taking out any unseen threats.

its very worth it, most of the time. The only bad side is laziness in teamwork. no one really doing anything just running around shooting. The people with the microphones really tie the game together.

then you'd want dynamic shaows and lighting off and tectures on low. Id say 1gig is the minimal requirement for this game. it's massive.

Hardly a lie, the sites server went down plus the game had a lot of gameplay issues at the time.
