Default another problem with bf2 (most likley hardware related) - 10-04-2005, 10:02 PM

Everytime I disconnect from a game and Im in the in game menu, my game freezes, screen goes blank, and weird colours appear. sometimes it will come back and I can click on things, and sometimes it wont and I have to hit the reset button.

When the screen (if) comes back on and im able to click things, I can exit BF2, and then I see some ATI VPU recovery error or something and asks me to send the error report into ATI, I just say no.

what do think is happening? is my card overheating? if it is, why does it just do this when Im done BF2 and not during?

Ive done a fresh install of the game too and reinstalled the patch. maybe the drivers? im using the 5.8 drivers as of now.

thanks
