Gameplay And Realism -

I have two comments about MoH.
Firstly, why are there so many complaints of "camping"? This isn't Q3, or it's ilk, but a game that requires strategy and teamwork to win, that's something I see a great lack of. (Please bear in mind I'm not a noob, but someone who has been playing computer games for about 20 of my 35 years). There are two sides, usually one defending and the other attacking, so why is it wrong to sit and wait for the attackers to come to you, which they'll have to do to complete the objective(s). I know it can be frustrating from the attackers point of view, but that's where the strategy and teamwork come into it.
Secondly, I know Realism mods are an improvement over the standard MP game, but please if you're going to try and make it more 'real' at least get the weapons into perspective. The Stg44 is an 'Uber' weapon in MoH, why? The Stg44 isn't a MG, but was the first real assault rifle. In r/l it hasn't got the max range of the rifles, Thompson, BAR or MP40, and has an effective range between the SMG's and the rifles. So why has it got a range that can out shoot anything else? (check out Omaha and you'll see what I mean). The other thing is why, when a scope is added to a rifle does it do a lot more damage, afterall it's still the same rifle (i.e K98k), so it should still do the same damage. (The Springfield may do slightly more damage than the M1, but not much more). The thing with sniping is you should be stationary, and hidden, to be effective, not jump and run around, as if you have an SMG. I'm all for Realism mods, but please use research and get the weapons right. One more point on realism, it would be nice if someone could make a fix to stop people jumping 50-100 feet and only suffering 10 damage. The cliffs at Omaha are 120ft high, and nobody would risk jumping from them, unless they WANTED to commit suicide.
What I'm suggesting won't detract from the game but add to the feel.
